What is a Trailblazer?
A Trailblazer is a special kind of soldier who goes out and hunts for roadside
bombs around the world to help keep other soldiers and civilians
safe.
What do we do?
We try to make people aware of PTSD and help those veterans that have
it.
Why did we start this club?
We started this club so that Joe's memory can live on through all of us.
He wanted to get the "TRAILBLAZER" tab passed through congress so soldiers
who hunted bombs could stand out from others. He never had a chance to see
it become reality, so we have made it one.
Who can be a Trailblazer?
Anybody who has a DD214 saying that they had participated in route clearance
or trailblazing operations for a specified time. Anybody who was a personal
friend of Joe's. Any military veteran who ever specifically helped find roadside
bombs. You know who you are.
How much does it cost?
It's free.
How do I join?
To join and support us, please send an email along with a some minor information
about yourself ie; name, rank, prior experience, units served with, POC,
your location now and then. You do not have to give us any information at
all however to join we will need to know certain things about you.
Who are we?
We are a group of veterans and friends of Joe that want to make sure his
memory lives on. Some ride and some don't. But we will make the "TRAILBLAZER"
tab a reality for him and us.
